In line with the softening in Government satisfaction, both Micheál Martin and Leo Varadkar see their satisfaction ratings ease back slightly (albeit not significantly) in March. Both Micheál Martin and Leo Varadkar’s ratings have decreased by 2 percentage points, with Micheál Martin’s decreasing to 49% while Leo Varadkar’s decreased to 42%.
Mary Lou McDonald’s satisfaction rating has declined 4 percentage points from 51% to 47%. This results in Micheál Martin edging ahead on the most popular leader title (both were on 51% satisfaction in February).
Eamon Ryan’s satisfaction stands at 34%, similar to the February poll (up one percentage point). Alan Kelly’s satisfaction declines to 39%, however note he resigned as Labour leader on March 2nd duing this poll.
