We have always liked art and have long been of the opinion that market research is more an art than a science. We also believe that businesses should invest in the arts and this has become a core commitment of the company.
During Behaviour & Attitudes’ early establishment phase, the company considered various ‘thank you’ gift ideas for clients at the end of each year. This led to the concept of commissioning original fine-art prints by leading Irish artists, through the medium of traditional hand printing techniques, such as lithography and etching.
Our intention was to provide clients with a unique piece of art which would have a number of roles:
A solid relationship with The Graphic Design Studio and its artists is now in its 28th year and has featured a different artist each year. The works they created for our clients are shown here along with details of the artists.
The B&A print collection has received two awards from Business to Arts in recent years: ‘Best Business/Arts Collaboration by a Small Business’ in 2003, and the ‘Jim McNaughton Perpetual Award for Best Commissioning Practice’ in 2008.
