Support for Eighth Repeal Holds Steady
Today’s is the third B&A poll in as many months which has measured voting intentions in relation to the forthcoming abortion referendum.
Despite the marked uplift in Referendum campaign activity in general, voting intentions have remained remarkably solid since the beginning of the year.
Thus, just under half of all Irish voters indicate that they will vote yes, to support the proposal to replace the eighth amendment with a clause enabling abortion, with 29% indicating they are likely to vote no.
