Despite the summer heatwave consumer confidence in the country’s economic standing has cooled since April, but 2018 levels remain relatively consistent overall.
The cooling in consumer confidence appears to reflect more macro elements rather than noticeably poorer personal conditions of late, as disposable income is at its highest level since early 2017.
