Sinn Fein Consolidates Lead Party Position – Sunday Times Poll
Perhaps not surprisingly given her party’s dramatic successes in the election, and her high profile performances in post-election maneuverings, Mary Lou McDonald’s rating as leader of Sinn Féin is the only one to have increased since last month – with over half (53%) of all voters satisfied with the job she is doing.
Compared to last month’s poll, the increase in McDonald’s popularity has been quite consistent across all socio-demographic groupings, albeit with marginally more Munster residents dissatisfied with the Sinn Féin leader (47%) than are satisfied (44%)
