In the latest Sunday Times / Behaviour & Attitudes Opinion Poll for November, Sinn Fein benefits as Independents continue to slide.
There is however a notable difference in Government satisfaction between urban and rural areas, with 45% of all urban dwellers (rising to 48% of those in Dublin) satisfied with the Government, compared to just 38% of all rural dwellers happy with the manner in which the country is being run.
There is clearly still a regional divide in terms of how people feel they are faring under the current administration, with a majority of individuals living outside cities and large towns unhappy with their lot.
