Sinn Fein and Independents gain in latest Nationwide Poll.
Sinn Féin support has increased three points this month – from 17% in December to 20% today. This positions the party very much in line with its combined six month average support level of 20%, and it will be pleased to have recovered some of the ground it lost between last November and December. Almost 80% of Sinn Féin’s support emanates from urban areas around the country, especially in Dublin where its level of support currently stands at 24%.
