Two thirds now opt for main parties.
Compared to last month’s poll, it is clear that Varadkar’s most recent increase in popularity has been highest in rural areas – especially within the Leinster Rural region.
From a party political perspective, the momentum of the last few months towards Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil continues, with two-thirds of the electorate now indicating they would vote for either one of those parties if there was a General Election tomorrow.
