B&A Consumer Confidence Tracker October 2017
Consumer confidence is showing modest recovery after mid year declines
The modest improvement in consumer confidence is being driven by improved optimism among Dubliners, as the gap between Dublin and outside Dublin remains. However, those outside Dublin are also expressing some areas of improved confidence in the country’s economic future.
At countrywide level positivity towards the value of personal assets is showing a positive trend and is gradually trending upwards among both Dubliners and those living outside of the capital (most likely due to rising property value), but we are not quite at 2006 levels (yet!).
