Economy key to fate of FG – Sunday Times
Between December of last year and this January, satisfaction with the Government and the Taoiseach dropped significantly, albeit so too did the personal rating of Micheál Martin as leader of Fianna Fáil.
In today’s poll, satisfaction with the Government and the leaders of all parties is practically identical to those registered last month, with 39% of the electorate satisfied with Leo Varadkar, Brendan Howlin and Mary Lou McDonald. Micheál Martin remains the most popular leader in the country, although there are as many voters dissatisfied with his performance (44%) as are satisfied (43%).
