Choppy waters for consumer confidence

Concerns of personal income and the global outlook are impacting confidence.

This report presents the findings of B&A’s Consumer Confidence Tracker during Qtr. 2 2020.

Survey results are based on a sample of 1,018 adults aged 16+, quota controlled in terms of age, gender, socio-economic class and region to reflect the profile of the adult population of the Republic of Ireland.

Due to Covid-19 all interviewing on this wave of the consumer confidence survey was conducted on B&A’s online barometer.

Fieldwork on the latest wave was conducted 23rd  April – 5th  May 2020.
